Weighing in at only 11.6 ounces, the Nike Zoom Kobe IV will be even lighter than the Nike Hyperdunk—a feat thought to be impossible when the Nike Hyperdunk. From a technological front, the Nike Zoom Kobe IV incorporates the Swoosh’s inventive Flywire containment strands, an attempt at making a light, hyper-flexible product that hearkens back to the days when Bryant played in minimalist soccer cleats.
      Underfoot, the shoe is distinguished by a prodigiously comfortable Zoom Air bag in the heel, and squishy Lunar Foam in the forefoot. Bryant’s signature is inscribed along the shoe’s heel support wing, and his favorite Latin phrase, “Carpe Diem,” makes an appearance as the tongue logo.
