      Nike Shox BB4 is a series of Vince Carter shoes, which was released in 2000.
Vince Carter had just been claimed the best dunker DEAD OR ALIVE! When people saw the dunks he performed at the 2000 All Star Game, they were in awe. He was being called “Half Man, Half Amazing’” and it was serious. He was with another shoe company, and still undecided as to what he should do. That summer, Nike gave him a pair of Nike Shox BB4 to test out as he went to Australia to play in the Olympic Games. They said it would give him more hops. Yeah Right!! But then, during a game, he came down on a fast break and in front of him stood a 7 + footer, and the rest is history. POSTERIZED!!!! I never seen someone jump so high, towering over a 7 footer like he was just a cone in another practice drill! The next day, Vinsanity faxed over a sheet to Nike saying: Thanks for the shoes. They really work.
